Swim with the Dolphins: The Denville Dolphins is a fun and competitive summer league swim team competing in the North Jersey Regional Lake League. You can belong to a Hub Lakes team and still swim with the Dolphins! The meet season is from late June through mid-August and meets are against teams from Shongum Lake, Roxbury, Flanders Valley, Lake Shawnee, Randolph Park, Park Lake in Rockaway, Cranberry Lake, Mendham, Shore Hills and the infamous Lake Forest! The practices and home meets are held at Cook's Pond, off of Diamond Spring Road. Meets are generally on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Practices are in the early afternoon on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays, 1:00-2:30, beginning June 22. It's ok if you can't make some practices or meets. It is important that you'll be a part of the team! Join the Denville Dolphins! Weekday Meet Times: 5:00PM Home warm up, 5:30 Away warm up, 6:00 Start With completed Registration Forms, make checks payable to Township of Denville - Recreation Dept. $40 for 1, $60 for 2 and $75 for three or more swimmers, per family. After signing up, you'll have an on-going opportunity to declare which meets you can make and even tell us which strokes you prefer to take part in at meets! We have a small, but mighty Dolphin team and most swimmers get to swim in 3 events and a relay at each meet! Team suits can be purchased at Cailfornia Beach Hut on Broadway. Girls suits are approximately $26 and boys are $19.50. All are encouraged to buy and wear team suits to meets. The league does not allow athletes to wear the high-tech suits.
